The Port of Pemba, owned and operated by the Mozambican Ports and Railways (CFM), has just benefited from a significant rehabilitation, valued at USD 5 million, and includes the installation of new, heavy and modern equipment. Enabling the Port to handle large quantities of varied cargo.

The Port of Pemba is now ready to operate 24 hours a day and can handle around 27,000 TEUs a year, against the 18,000 TEUs that were previous handled.
