Ghana and Saudi Arabia Discuss Investment in Railway Development and Energy Infrastructure

Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has held a bilateral meeting in New York with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, at which the two discussed relations between their countries with a focus on railway development and energy infrastructure, according to Ghana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministers agreed to forge closer ties on a number of continental priority issues as Ghana prepares to take over the Chair of the African Union.

According to the ministry, Ghana and Saudi Arabia will accelerate high-level engagements towards increasing investments and supporting President John Dramani Mahama's Reset Agenda.
