Africast Zambia, in partnership with the Ministry of Transport & Logistics and the Zambia Development Agency, presents to you the second webinar for the 2026 series for LLZ on 28 January 2026, with the theme topic “Strengthening the Global Supply Chain through Nacala Corridor.”
The webinar will explore the transformative role of the Nacala Corridor, a key international transport route connecting land-linked countries like Zambia and Malawi to the Indian Ocean via the Port of Nacala in Mozambique.
About the Nacala Corridor Initiative
The initiative was launched at the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) to bolster regional connectivity and stimulate economic growth across Mozambique, Malawi, and Zambia.
The project aims to strengthen transportation infrastructure and promote industrial development, enhancing the corridor’s capacity to move mineral resources, agricultural goods, and other cargo more efficiently. The initiative supports sustainable development, job creation, and more resilient global supply chains in the region.
