Zambia Railways Limited (ZRL) and its Managing Director, Eng. Cuthbert Malindi, have mutually agreed to separate with effect from 17 September 2026, the company's Board of Directors has announced.
The Board has appointed the Company Secretary, Mwendabai Mwalusi-Bulaya, as Acting Managing Director, and thanked Malindi for his leadership, commitment and contribution to the company during his tenure.
In its statement, issued in Lusaka on 17 September, the Board said it remains committed to continuity in the management and operations of Zambia Railways and will communicate further developments regarding the company's leadership in due course.
