Kenya Railways has issued a request for expressions of interest for consultancy services to develop a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for the Nairobi Metropolitan Area under the Kenya Urban Mobility Improvement Project.
The consultancy will cover the development of a comprehensive Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for the Nairobi Metropolitan Area, including Nairobi City, Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado and Murang’a counties.
The objective is to guide the development of an intermodal and multimodal urban transport network and support the provision of seamless urban transport services across the metropolitan area.
The assignment is expected to start in October 2026 and will run for 15 calendar months.
