The Compagnie du TransGuinéen (CTG) recently celebrated its fourth anniversary during an official ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Conakry, in the presence of the Minister Director of Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic and President of the Simandou Strategic Committee, Djiba Diakité; the Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, General Amara Camara; advisers to the Presidency of the Republic; members of the Government; shareholders; industrial partners; partner companies; CTG employees; and many stakeholders involved in the realisation of the Simandou Project.
Held under the theme, “4 Years: On the Rails of Transformation”, the celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress made since the creation of CTG in 2022 and to highlight the achievements made possible by a common vision supported by the Guinean State, industrial partners and all the teams involved.
In four years, CTG has become a strategic player in the development, operation and management of the Trans-Guinean Corridor, a world-class rail and port infrastructure at the heart of the Simandou Project.
Representatives of the State, CTG and its industrial partners reaffirmed their joint commitment to maintaining this collective momentum in order to make the Trans-Guinean Corridor a sustainable driver of economic growth, territorial integration and prosperity for the Republic of Guinea.
For the past four years, CTG has been building much more than infrastructure. It is building a corridor that connects territories, supports economic development and contributes sustainably to the transformation of Guinea.
