$100 Million Loan From The African Development Bank To Guinea

The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank approved, on Wednesday, December 7, 2017, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, a loan of US $ 100 million (US) for a railway, port and mine in Boké, northwestern Guinea. The project, led by the Guinea Aluminum Corporation (GAC, an affiliate of Emirates Global Aluminium), includes a total of US $ 1.4 billion, including the commissioning of a new bauxite mine, the construction of a container terminal in the port of Kamsar, as well as the rehabilitation
