Nigeria Approves US$6.7bn For Ibadan-Kaduna Rail Project

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved US$6.7billion for the construction of the Ibadan-Kaduna rail project. While addressing State House correspondents after a meeting held inside the council chamber of the presidential villa, the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi – who presented the project memo to Council for approval, said that the rail project will take a period of three years to complete and cost US$6.7bn. He added that the contract had been awarded to a Chinese company
