CAMRAIL has issued an open international invitation for bids for the supply of turnouts and complete rail expansion joints under the Regional Project for Improving the Performance of the Douala–Ndjamena Rail/Road Corridor (PCDN).
The project is financed by the World Bank through IDA Credit No. 7036-CM, with the Government of the Republic of Cameroon applying part of the proceeds toward the contract. Procurement will be conducted in accordance with the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, Seventh Edition, September 2025.
CAMRAIL, acting as purchaser under delegated contracting authority, is the concessionaire of the Cameroon railways and implementing agency for the railway component.
The contract covers the supply of turnouts and complete rail expansion joints within a period of 12 months from contract signature. The scope also includes unloading at the Port of Douala, handling and loading onto transport, transport to the Bassa Central Workshops in Douala, and final unloading at the workshops.
