Togo Plans Concessioned Freight Railway between Lomé Port and Adétikopé on 40km of Rehabilitated Metre Gauge
Togo is preparing to restore freight rail services between the Autonomous Port of Lomé (PAL) and the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA), using around 40km of rehabilitated metre-gauge railway. The infrastructure would remain publicly owned, while freight services would be operated by a private concessionaire, potentially from 2028.
