Rehabilitation And Modernisation Of The Trans-Maghreb Railway Line

The General Secretariat of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) has obtained a donation from the African Development Bank in US dollars (USD), granted from the resources of the Facility for the Preparation of Infrastructure Projects of NEPAD (FPPI-NEPAD) that it manages, in order to finance the cost of the preparatory activities of the rehabilitation and modernization of the Trans-Maghreb railway line connecting Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.

It is envisioned that the project will be presented to potential partners and funders sometime in December this year, giving a comprehensive outline of the resources required for the realisation of rehabilitation and modernisation of the Trans-Maghreb Railway Line.
