Proposals to build an underground station at Edinburgh Airport have been dropped. In place of the intended new rail facility at the terminal, a new station giving easy access to the airport is planned at Gogar on the existing railway from Edinburgh to Fife as well as a new loop on the Edinburgh-Glas
