Collision Of Two Metrorail Trains At The Van Riebeeckpark Train Station In Kempton Park

The Minister of Transport, Dr Blade Nzimande, has directed the Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) to conduct a thorough inspection of the scene, following the train collision that occurred  on  4 October 2018 - at the Van Riebeeck Park Train Station in Kempton Park. A Metrorail train collided with a faulty stationery train at the rear end. Both trains were travelling from Johannesburg Park Station to Pretoria.
