CCMA To Conciliate PRASA/UNTU Wage Dispute

A Commissioner of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) will try to conciliate the wage dispute between the United National Transport Union (UNTU) and the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) on 13 April. The CCMA set the date on 29 March after UNTU declared a dispute earlier in the week, when PRASA refused to increase its wage offer from 7, 3% and did not want to include a no retrenchment clause in the proposed wage agreement.
