Mauritius Extends Deadline for 20-Year Land Transport and Light Rail Masterplan Consultancy

Mauritius has extended the deadline for an international consultancy to prepare its 20-Year Integrated Land Transport Masterplan. First published by the Ministry of Land Transport on 14 July 2026, the procurement was initially amended on 20 July before a further extension was issued on 19 August, moving the submission deadline from 25 August to 21 September 2026. The assignment will shape long-term planning across roads, public transport, light rail, active mobility and future transport technologies, including the continued integration and potential expansion of Metro Express within the national transport system.
