TURKEY REINSTATES OLDEST LINE

The Izmir-Aydin line, the oldest in Turkey, has been reactivated following structural renewal costing TL60 million ($US36) million. Of this amount, TL20 ($US12) million was allocated for the purchase of new trains. All stations and pedestrian accessways together with artwork have been renovated. Sül
