RAIL LINK IRAQ-IRAN

Adviser to the Iraqi ministry of transport Karim al-Nouri told the Pan Arab publication Al-Hayat that the new railway linking Iraq with Iran will run from Basra to Shalamjeh. In the beginning it is to carry passengers only, not freight. Journeys will be possible from Tehran and Qom to Najaf and Karb
