IRAQI MONORAIL PROPOSED

According to a Reuters report, the Iraqi government has invited interest from companies wishing to compete for a $US450 million monorail project extending 18km in the southern holy city of Kerbalam, some 80km south-west of Baghdad. The route envisaged would connect two points on the city's perimeter
