ELECTRONIC TICKETING IN SYDNEY

Conventional tickets and selling facilities are being withdrawn from Sydney stations systematically. Commuters have become accustomed to the 'Opal' smartcard, making it possible to withdraw the old method of ticketing. Sales staff being made redundant are being offered alternative employment.
