CHINA INVESTS $US43BN IN RAIL

In the first six months of 2015, 2,226km of new lines were opened in China. Target for the year is 8,000km. Altogether, China invested more than $US42.67 billion in railway construction in the first half of 2015, an increase of 12.7% over the first half of 2014.
