Voith has signed a major deal with mobility supplier Alstom. The exclusive contract will see Voith deliver its RailPack 400DM, consisting of the manufacturer’s state-of-the-art Voith Rail Engine and an innovative mechanical transmission, for use in Alstom’s regional train platform Coradia Lint. The RailPack 400DM units will be delivered over the course of five years; this is the subject of a major contract recently signed between the Heidenheim-based manufacturer and French rail supplier Alstom
