BOARD MEMBERS SHOULD BE A-POLITICAL'

Suburban trains serving six Chicago counties are provided by the Metra transit authority, which is run by an appointed board. In August, Cook County commissioner Jeffrey Tobolski pointed out that the Metra board 'can barely muster a quorum and lacks sufficient directors to name a new permanent CEO'.
