SYDNEY MONORAIL COMPONENTS RE-USED

Construction of Sydney's A$8.3 billion new North-West Rail Link almost necessitated closing an important road for some three years. This is being obviated by building a temporary bridge, using steel beams from the recently dismantled Sydney monorail. These are being welded to make 29 bridge girders
