Transport Forum SIG Topic: “Policy And Implementation”

The next monthly Transport Forum SIG, hosted by the University of Johannesburg's Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies (Africa), is taking place on Thursday 12 April and all are invited. The topic for the day is “Policy and Implementation”.

Main points under discussion will include the following:

  • Policy and Implementation in the Aviation Industry
  • How does Policy Development take place in South Africa? Classic example the Rail Policy
  • Local Content and Designation in particular the rail sector
  • Inter-modalism: What is holding us back?
