1:4.5 Scissors Crossing is built either on universal concrete sleepers or timber sleepers. Each set consists of 350LHT special head hardened rails, rail bound crossings as well as adjustable UIC 33 check rails to increase the products life cycle. The switch areas include flexible switch blades and a technological advancement through the use of insulated adjustable rodding. On concrete sleepers the chairs are placed on the centre line of the sleepers to avoid contact with the reinforcing within the sleepers. Continuous welding is utilised and no fishplate joints are required throughout the set.
