CSR Nanjing Puzhen was recently awarded a contract for the supply of 40 diesel multiple units to Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Tunisiens (SNCFT – the Tunisian National Railways). Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Tunisiens (SNCFT – the Tunisian National Railways) has ordered 40 two-car Pacemaker 160km/h diesel multiple-unit trains from the CSR Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock company, better known as China South, for delivery in 2011. The contract, worth $US100 million, was won in stiff competition with established Western manufacturers.
