STUDY ON NEW LINE FROM DAR OUT SOON

Ministers of Infrastructure from Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania are scheduled to meet in Kigali late in September to approve the “final study” currently being carried out on the proposed 691km new standard-gauge railway from Dar-es-Salaam to Kigali and Bujumbura. Burundi Joins Kigali-Dar Rail Link Project

Burundi has been added to a planned railway project to connect Tanzania and Rwanda.
