Gautrain’s Park station in north central Johannesburg has been opened to the public for familiarisation purposes, in anticipation of train operation beginning in the near future. The dispute between the Bombela concession company and the Gautrain Management Agency over leaks in the tunnel have not been resolved as yet but it is hoped that obstacles to the running of trains will be out of the way sometime in June.
