TRANSNET RATING DOWN

International Rating Agency Moody’s has dropped Transnet’s senior unsecured long-term and short-term ratings to A3/Prime 2 from A2/Prime 1. On 16 July, it lowered the sovereign local currency rating for South Africa to A3 from A2, which triggered Transnet’s subordinate debt rating from A3 to Baa1
