SRI-LANKA OPENS RAIL MUSEUM

The newly established Sri-Lankan national railway museum at Technical Junction, Maradana, was officially opened on 11 May by transport minister Dallas Alahapperuma. Locomotives, carriages, equipment and various other items used over the past 150 years are on display.
