BULGARIA-TURKEY LINE

Bulgarian minister of transport Peter Mutafchiev was present at the recent signing of two contracts between his country and Turkey, related to the electrification and reconstruction of the connecting railway. The first contract is for the design, construction and electrification of the line from the town of Svilengrad to the Turkish border. The second is for a geographic information system (GIS) to provide a database within the spatial location of the railway infrastructure and its elements.
